The purpose and subject of the course: to reveal the scientific foundations of linguodidactic activity of primary school teachers, to form the psychological, pedagogical, methodological readiness of students for pedagogical activity in primary school.
The main objectives of the discipline “Linguodidactic Activity of Primary School Teacher” are:
– to reveal the theoretical foundations of the formation of linguodidactics as a science, to clarify its conceptual apparatus, linguodidactic technologies of language and speech acquisition;
– to systematize and deepen knowledge of the methods of teaching the Ukrainian language and methods of literary reading;
– to ensure further professional language and speech improvement of higher education students;
– to form in future primary school teachers a steady interest in the use of innovative language teaching technologies in the conditions of the New Ukrainian School;
– to develop skills and abilities to model linguodidactic discourse in different situations of educational communication.
