К вопросу о дейктичности глагольной категории вида в белорусском языке

The article analyses the verbal aspect in the Belarusian language as a deictic category which depends on the observer’s perceptual peculiarities and the correlation of the temporal-spatial localizations of the situation, the speaker and the observer. It is revealed that the perfect aspect with its assertive and resultive semantics is characterized by the divergence of the spatial-temporal localizations of the action, the observer and the process of speaking. The imperfective aspect with continuous semantics is characterized by the convergence of the spatial-temporal systems of the subject of perception, the situation expressed by the verb and the process of speaking.
