Practical English grammar : Syllabus academic discipline 2022-2023 academic year

Abstract

The purpose of teaching the academic discipline “Practical Grammar” is to form in students a clear idea of the grammatical structure of the English language, its main principles, differences from the native language, the formation of language and speech competences, control of understanding of grammatical phenomena in oral and written speech. The main tasks of studying the discipline “Practical Grammar” are the formation of skills to determine and understand grammatical forms and constructions during reading and listening; formation of the ability to use grammatical forms and constructions in oral and written speech; providing a basic level of knowledge of the grammatical structure of the English language.
