National and cultural specifics of realization of zoomorphic images in Ukrainian folk genres

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the specifics of the realization of national and cultural symbolism of zoomorphic images in Ukrainian folk genres. In particular, the author established the national-specific features of the Ukrainian zoomorphic linguistic picture of the world. It is analyzed how this fragment of Ukrainians' knowledge about the animal world was formed based on rethought associative and evaluation-characterizing values of these nouns. The author emphasizes that some properties of objects of reality reflected in the linguistic picture of the world are not lost, but remain undeniably significant, while zoosemism-name of the basic category absorbs the basic, prototype qualities and properties of animal species belonging to this group. , recorded in the memory of the native speaker of the Ukrainian language, and both objectively available and attributed to cultural tradition. The study notes that the use of zoomorphic images in Ukrainian folk genres reflects a person's attitude to the world through his life experience, assessment of social phenomena, compliance with norms and principles of morality.
