Abstract
У статті в контексті вивчення літературної подорожі “своїм” простором проаналізовано специфіку втілення ескапістського мотиву у творах українця М. Камиша “Оформляндія, або Прогулянка в Зону” та російського письменника О. Єрмакова “Навколо світу”. Окреслено взаємозв’язок між “внутрішньою” подорожжю та власне мандрівкою у escape-тревелозі.
Description
The article argues that journey fosters the formation of the individual’s personal identity by means of its “own” space. The author emphasises an intimate nature of the travels made by protagonists from M. Kamysh’s “A Stroll to the Zone” and O. Yermakov’s “Around the World” travelogues. The current resarch uncovers the specificity of escape from civilization motif as the heart of disaster in writers’ escape-travelogues. The space of desolation and absence of human beings has been described as one which is endowed with power to cure. At the same time, the concepts of “the unity of human and nature” and “the lack of haste” have been outlined as peculiar ways of characters’ personal identity harmonization. The article proves modification of typical traveller’s archetype to the escapist’s archetype reflecting the combination of travellers’ attitude motif and their demiurgic intentions.
