Анотація
The article reveals one of the ways of support and development of curiosity of pre-school children in the process of learning the objects of the surrounding world. Explanatory and transformative strategy that involves the formation of holistic understanding of the objects of the world in pre-school children is given. Basic structural components of the strategy are revealed. Phases of work, different kinds of activities that provide children with mastering scientific knowledge and practical experience in the surrounding reality are characterized. Methods for generalized procedural representation construction are shown. The process of realizing by preschoolers essential properties of concrete objects and their generalization to the level of concepts is presented. The intensive use of active methods is shown: cognitive dialogue, expressed in the interaction of a teacher and a child on the basis of creation information and cognitive contradiction between earlier knowledge and new practical conditions of their use; procedural modeling of essential property which involves transformation of the object studied in its essential characteristics into the corresponding process
