Особливості зв’язку професійного спілкування з національною ідентичністю державних службовців

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the connection between both oral and written professional communication of Civil Servants in Ukraine and valence and certainty of their national identity. It is empirically determined that the majority of Civil Servants in Ukraine are using the Ukrainian language in their oral professional communication with colleagues and visitors and written communication with visitors. Languages other than Ukrainian are used during written professional communication with colleagues as well as oral and written professional communication with colleagues and visitors. The usage of the Ukrainian language in oral professional communication with colleagues, in written professional communication with colleagues and visitors, also in oral and written professional communication with colleagues and visitors is related to quantitative indicators of the valence of national identity. The usage of the Ukrainian language in oral professional communication with colleagues and visitors is related to certainty indicators of national identity.
