Abstract

The article highlights the relevance of S. Rusova views on the impact of a teacher’s speech on the development of preschool children. The role of a kindergarten teacher’s speech in the conditions of today is determined. We consider speech as a means of communication used to implement various tasks, including education and upbringing. Communication is characterized as one of the main professionally important qualities for a pre-school profile specialist, which is a precondition for other professional features formation and in the role of a function involves establishing the right relationship between a kindergarten teacher and pupils, their families, colleagues and school administration. High-level figures of a teacher’s speech are considered. The importance of a teacher’s good knowledge of literary language, the communicative qualities of speech, choice of appropriate means of verbal communication, the need to consider the terms of communicative situations arising in the professional environment are proved; some features of professional communication with parents are considered. The situational context of communication; features of speech production in situations arising in the professional environment; hierarchy of speaking in a dialogue: messages (speech act) – the progress of speech – speech interaction – speech transaction; the main type of speech progress; components of communication: consituation; context; presupposition; speech (direct creation product) are defined.
