- ДокументAnalysis of the current state of preparation of future teachers for STEM-oriented professional activities(Publishing House of the Academy of Applied Sciences – Academy of Management and Administration in Opole, 2025) Nesterenko, Maryna; Petryk, KristinaThe chapter analyzes the current state of preparation of future teachers for STEM-oriented professional activities in the system of higher pedagogical education in Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the regulatory framework for STEM education implementation and to the analysis of educational programs of various higher education institutions in order to identify the level of integration of STEM components into teacher training curricula. Based on a content analysis of educational programs, the study identifies key trends and challenges in the implementation of the STEM approach, including its fragmented integration, insufficient interdisciplinarity, and limited practical orientation. The findings highlight the need to move from episodic inclusion of individual STEM courses to a systemic model of STEM integration through interdisciplinary modules, project-based learning, and practice-oriented activities in teacher education programs.

Modern approaches to the digitalization of the educational process are analyzed, the possibilities of using multimedia tools, cloud services, virtual laboratories and modeling tools when studying technological disciplines are characterized. The pedagogical conditions for the effective integration of digital technologies into the educational environment and their impact on the formation of technological competence of students are determined. The importance of digital tools for increasing student motivation, individualizing learning and developing practical skills is substantiated. The conclusion is made about the need for systematic training of teachers and the creation of a digital educational space to ensure the quality of technological education.
